My 200th post!

It seems like yesterday I started my blog, although it was actually May 13. Then October 5 rolled around and I posted my 100th. For that one, I did all photos. If you've been here before, you know that I love shooting photos -- that's how I roll.

Now, after 100 more posts of drivel we are up to number 200, and so a few more photos are in order. There is no theme, just random shots that I don't believe I've ever posted before. Enjoy.

I went to Cancun, Mexico, in January for eight days. The Maya ruins at Tulum were one of the highlights of my trip.

All photos are high rez, so you can click to enlarge the image.

When most people think Maya Ruins, they think this: the Great Pyramid at Chichen Itza.

I spent 13 days in Detroit in March working at an NABC (a national bridge tournament) for the ACBL. I took this photo from my hotel room in the Renaissance Center. You can see the frozen Detroit River on the left. Don't you love the colors at sundown?

The Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii is still active. I took this shot from a helicopter (two years ago) looking down into the cone. I've been to many places in this world (yes, Joxum, even the fireworks display at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen), and this is one of the most spectacular things I've experienced:

I took this on Bourbon Street during one of my poker trips to New Orleans:

Last Summer, I visted the Freemont Street Experience in Las Vegas.

While in Vegas, I also spent part of a day hiking on Mount Charleston.

I thought it was pretty cool that a stream ran through what you see here (near the hiking trail):

The Goldstrike Casino is my favorite place to play poker:

Camel Rock is a rock formation of naturally eroded sandstone and is located just north of Santa Fe.

I lived in Memphis, but moved last year to just outside of Memphis (10 miles south). I still work there, and consider it "home." What's Memphis, without Elvis and Elvis impersonators?

In August, I picked up my camera and spent one day taking photos of Memphis. I blogged about it and you can see the photos I took and what I wrote if you click here. This is a collage of nine of the shots I took:

Here are four of the poker players who competed in the Durham CT World Poker Open. They are enjoying lobster! The old guy, third from left, wishes you Happy New Year.
