I've been waiting for the WSOP schedule so I can make plans, and it was announced today. The Seniors, Event #26, is one I've played in for the last four years and plan to play again this year. I admit my geezerhood (50 or older in this case), so why not?
Anyone besides me planning on
Here's a link.
GOGOGOGOGOGO!!!! Can't wait to see the results and 1st place bracelet!
ReplyDeleteI would love to play in that Seniors Event and let you bust me out with my pocket Kings, but alas, $1,000 is a bit too pricey for me. Good luck and take it down. Will you be playing any other events in the WSOP?
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Memphis. I'm seriously considering the Seniors Event myself (I turned 50 last year, so I just squeak in). What's your advice for playing in this one? Tight is right? Value town and no bluffing? Where do you stay when you go?
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
ReplyDeleteI won't be playing in any events this year but I'll be sweating everyone I know that will be
@bug: Tight is right. I don't remember exactly, but I believe the Patience Factor is 30-ish. Snyer, in his second book, gives some misleading information. The structure he refers to must have been changed after he wrote his book.
ReplyDeleteI haven't played in this for a few years but am considering. However, my tournament play is so rusty I would probably be even deader dead money.
ReplyDeleteAhhh ... I remember that years ago I was even able to outlast the great MOJO in this event. Now? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ......... lol.
With all your great experience here, I would not be surprised to see you make another deep run. I'll definitely be keeping a close watch on it if not in it myself.
GLGLGL! I'll be railing you from Mississippi! Hope you'll update us on twitter :)
