WSOP, here I come



The WSOP has started!! This will be my fifth summer in a row to go in what has become an annual pilgrimage for me.

I'm leaving this Thursday and will be there two weeks. I plan to play in WSOP Event No. 26, the Seniors Pairs. I'll also play in local tournaments. Last year I played at the Wynn, Golden Nugget, Caesar's and the Venetian. Lightning36 will be there and we have some tentative plans for dinner.

My poker and bridge buddy Sim will be going, too, and we plan to sample some of the various casino rooms and toss some cards. I'll try and find time to update my blog, too.

Side note: blogger Lucki Duck played in the WSOP Event No. 7 and came 154th in for a nice $2033 cash, so big shout-out to him! See here.
