Above is their temporary home of the Horseshoe Poker Room.
The Horseshoe Tunica poker room is being remodeled. I read today on Jusdealem's blog that they have moved next door to the Roadhouse Casino, so I decided to check it out.
The room holds 24 tables and is quite nice. Ning, ning, ning. Do you ever get tired of hearing the slot machines? I know I do. This new room is on the second floor and definitely quiet.
I played in the 7 p.m. tournament and lasted until 10:30 when my 9-9 all-in was called by A-K and an ace came on the flop. The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Dodgers, so who cares, right? I have my priorities.
Directions: When you enter the front door of the Roadhouse, continue straight ahead to stairs. At the top of the stairs, there is a sign (see photo below) that guides you to the entrance (also see below).
Photos taken with my P&S.
The temporary room looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice! I almost went last night after a photo session I had to shoot, but opted for lazy lol. If I had known you were going, I would've met ya there!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a nice room and I can imagine quiet is better when you're trying to concentrate on playing poker!
