With five players left in The Colossus, Event No. 5 at the World Series of Poker, Brad McFarland raised to 1.1 million from the cutoff with the ♦K ♥Q. Adi Prasetyo called from the Big Blind with ♦4 ♥2, a hand referred to as The Grump. Notice that he chose to slow play his monster.
The flop was ♣3 ♠10 ♠5. Presetyo shrewdly checked to the pre-flop raiser to induce a continuation bet. McFarland obliged and bet 1.2 million, and now Presetyo sprang his trap. He check-raised to 4.785 million which forced McFarland to fold.
