Heading west


Leaving Wednesday for Las Vegas and the WSOP. This has become a pilgrimage for me. I believe 2009 was my first year, so this will be my ninth time to go. The Seniors is my favorite event and I'll play that, of course, along with possibly the Super Seniors and maybe the Monster Stack, although we'll see about the latter.

Hotel wifi is dicey, so I'm not sure how many blog posts I can make, but I'll occasionally tweet (handle is @memphismojo), so you can check me out there!

    I remember your previous trips to this event and it seemed like you enjoyed it whether you won or not. Winning, of course, is better than losing so I wish you luck and hope you come home with a bucket full of moola!
