One event down
Played Friday in the Seniors and did crummy. Every time I had a good hand, I lost chips. Bad luck and some not-very-good decisions (translation: not playing well) led to my hitting the rail.
I'm playing in the Super Seniors Sunday (for elder statesmen aged 65 or older, ha) and hope to do well. I tried it before and it's an unusual experience. There are some good players, but a ton of players who always wanted to play WSOP, so their kids gave them the money as a present to play -- rank amateurs. You can't necessarily run over them, however. After about 20 minutes of play, you know all about their grandchildren, where they live, etc. As I said, a different experience. Good luck moi.
