My 300th post!

Wow, it was May 13 last year when I made my first post. It was Oct 5, 2008, when I blogged No. 100 and started my custom of including photos I had taken, but never used in my blog. Then it was Jan 1 of this year when I posted No. 200, and again padded my post count by just posted pics instead of writing wonderful and insightful thoughts anything.

A bridge player told me the other day that he likes the bridge and the poker content here on my blog, but he doesn't care for the photos. Sorry, Glenn, but photos are part of how I roll.

In Houston in March, I spent part of a Saturday afternoon in the park and got to watch Native American dancers. Two words: photo op.

I got the idea for showing just the feet from Mo, who has a terrific blog if you are into photos. She calls it Another Las Vegas Daily Photo. Check her out.

Can you say picture postcard?

This (above) is a view of Honolulu from Diamond Head, taken in the Fall of 2006.

The Mayans were keen astonomers, even though they didn't have telescopes.

The above image is the ruins of one of the Maya observatories at Chichen Itza, Mexico, and was taken in January, 2008.

While on vacation in February, I took a day trip by boat to Dry Tartugas Island, about 70 miles from Key West FL. The image above is Fort Jefferson. The thing that looks like a lighthouse is what's called a harbor light.

The image at the left reminds me of a box within a box within, etc.

The images above are beach scenes from Ft. Lauderdale FL, taken in February.

This photo (above) shows one of the many crazy tourists who go to Florida each year. They have no shame, actually.

Very nice stack in the O8 game. My husband will play it if there's a game running when we go, but I haven't tried it live yet. Looks like I need to!

Very nice run in the freeroll; those things drive me crazy, so I refuse to play them LOL.

Best of luck in the senior event!! Go Mojo!

Ok, I think I'm caught up now :)
