It's a double-header: another set of baseball pics

Just wondering: I had strawberry-kiwi sorbet at the ball game, and no hotdog! Is that against the law or something? I ate some nachos, so maybe that counts instead.

Busch Stadium has a comfortable feel to it. Shots are all high rez, so click on them to enlarge, if interested.

Seen on a tee shirt: St. Louis is a drinking town with a baseball problem.

King Albert: Albert Pujols (above) leads the majors in home runs, RBIs, slugging percentage and on-base percentage. Most consider number 5 the best player in baseball.

It's a happening (above): And you thought a baseball game was all hitting, pitching and fielding. But wait! The mascot is hitting on her and she's fielding it -- or very possibly, it's the reverse. Just sayin'.

I love the handsome buildings (above) seen just outside the ballpark.

When the sun goes down, the shutter button does, too.

Images by MOJO, and taken with my Canon.

  1. Some really lovely photos here. I hate to break it to you, but I can't tell the difference between your point-and-shoot and good camera in the daytime photos... and I enlarged them. I guess the difference would be in the speed of use, controlling the f-stop & shutter speed, number of frames per second etc.
    So you're interested in poker, bridge, photography, baseball... anything else? Music? Ballet?
    Your family looks like they might be a whole lot of fun.

  2. Busch Stadium is such a cool place to shoot. I tend to carry a point and shoot and my good camera when I go places. Makes life easier.

    dude...no dog? that's just wrong. eating nachos doesn't make it better.

  4. I agree with diverjoules, it does make you feel like you're there! I love the sunset shot! Very nice. The t-shirt was great. LOL I thought hot dogs were mandatory at these games, but I will let you slide with the nachos. :)

    Can't wait to see the pics from the arch!

  5. @OhCaptain: Yeah, no hot dog [hangs head], but that's what blogs are for: to confess one's sins.

    @Wolynski: I'm saving ballet for my next life, although I've been known to put on a coat and tie [gasp], and go to the Nutcracker. Siblings = fun and are do-ers.

    @diverjoules: thanks

    @Jusdealem: pics from the arch? Well, now that you mention it . . .
