Getting closer

I decided to play the same tournament again tonight, and finished 6th. I hate to whine, but during play from the final two tables on, I lost all four races I was in.

Above is my busto hand. We were all in pre-flop and I was a 61% to 39% favorite. If I win this one, who knows?

  1. AQ. The hand of the devil never wins and should be folded.

  2. By races, you mean 50/50? I've come to find out that 50/50 actually means 50% of the time you lose and 50% of the time they win.

    Who knew?

  3. Well...you can't win 'em all (or so I've been told)...and I didn't hear any whining, just the facts, man.

Re your comment on Ocala DP: Dontcha know I'd never "moon" you? Heh, heh.

  4. A-Q should be renamed the Waffles Hand.

You put yourself in position again. Not much more you can do. Congrats on your continued success.

  6. Why is that - that Rookie Hand beats AQ so many times. GRRRRR.. Good job though.

  7. @WillWonka: Yes, races. I'm not counting the last hand. I also had a hand earlier that was a 52K pot where I had 10-10, villain had 9-9, all in PF. A 9 came on the flop. Yet, I shouldn't complain, I was winning most of the races earlier.

Thanks to all who commented. On the last hand, the other guy was the big stack and he raised. To play the hand, I was going to be pot commited, so I moved all in. He no doubt knew he was behind, but had so many chip$, he went ahead and called.
