WBCOOP #2 is in the books

We started with 3000 in chips. I worked it up to 4800, then began dribbling down = couldn't win a pot. With the blinds 100/200, I had 2700 chips and raised to 600. The big blind had 2800 and moved in. I called, of course - it was my chance to get back in the ballgame. He had 8-8 and the board bricked out, and I was number 400 out of 720. Tomorrow's another tournament - time to do better.

  1. I think I lasted a bit longer, but ran into some Italian chick who couldn't be run off her AK against my AQc when the flop came with an Ace.

  4. Nice. I think I made it to 600 - went out when I was all in on the turn with 96o vs. AQo on a 9877 board. Of course, Ace on the river and I'm sidelined.

  5. Hey MoJo.. Are you playing in the WSOP Circuit event that is being held in Tunica? I looked at the structure sheet and and I was SO WISHING I was there. Good Luck.

  6. @bastin: Italian chicks will do that.

    @Josie and @Pokermeister: Thanks

    @diverjoules: I'll probably end up playing at least one day. Love live tournaments where I can watch the villain. Online you're flying without radar.

  7. If you're having fun, that's what counts! Sort of!

    Thanks for the comment on Ocala DP. But, you know, it's not just the kids talking on the phone all the time. A lot of adults do it, too.

    Yesterday, I almost got run into on the highway by some white-haired lady, who was driving along with a cigarette in one hand and yakking on a cell phone with the other...Yikes!
