Of the 386 entrants, 56 advanced to today's final. Thirty-six of us were to be paid and I finished 43rd, sort of a bubble-boy finish.

I'll try again on Saturday.
Sorry to hear that Mojo, but congratulations on another excellent showing...
ReplyDeleteWell done Mojo, sorry you didn't cash. Good luck on Saturday. Have you ever played at Harrahs in New Orleans or any of the places in Biloxi?
ReplyDelete@The neophyte: Yes on Harrah's in New Orleans. Big 25-table room with huge waiting list. Lots of tourists. Yes to Biloxi -- the Beau Rivage. Similar to Harrah's.
ReplyDeleteSome people would say, "Well, you can't win 'em all," and I'd say, "Why not?"
ReplyDeleteKeep on keeping on! And good luck!
Not good play and not good luck are a bad combination.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that will keep a guy tossing in his sleep longer than bad Mexican. I don't know about you but I tend to remember/relive those kinds of days far more often than the great ones.
I'm waiting to hear what happened yesterday...hope you done good!
