Most years, the Horseshoe Casino Tunica has a poker tournament this time of the year that they call the Fall Magnolia Classic (Magnolia is the Mississippi state tree and state flower). This year the Horseshoe is having an abbreviated tournament that they are calling the Magnolia Mini.
The tournament will last four days. There will be a one-day event today and tomorrow (Friday) and a two-day event Saturday and Sunday. All are no-limit, naturally.
Two of my friends will be playing. Sim Therrell, the guy I went to the WSOP with last June, is playing (he's also a bridge player). Poker blogger Sherry (Jusdealem) texted me and says she is going to play. GL GL to my friends and to me, too! We need to do what this guy says and win the flips

Just don't get Babe Ruth cocky and point to the Ivy. (It was Wrigley where he may have pulled that off or straightened his cuffs at the right time.)
