Best of all worlds

Look at this photo. Notice anything? Yes, I've registered my car, got new tags and driver's license, and registered to vote, all in Florida!

Don't all geezers retired folks move to Florida or Arizona?

I still have a home in Walls MS so I can go there to visit and play in the Tunica poker tournaments. In the Memphis area, I'm close to my family (brothers, sisters and Mom are 200 miles from there) and I can still make it to St. Louis to see my favorite baseball team. I like to think I have the best of all worlds.

    Well there goes the neighborhood. When I retire, I'm moving up north. Then I'm gonna get an RV, drive slow in the left lane on the highway with my turn signal constantly going.

    Well, you do have the best of all possible worlds! And when you get really old, you'll always have your Florida home where you can enjoy winter and dream of days gone by! Wait, that's what I'm doing now! :)

    Relatives are always closer to one's home in Florida.

    That will probably relegate Sparky and me to cots in the garage.
