I was going to run some errands today, but got involved in a daily Bovada Tournament that went on forever (good news, I guess).
The villain had a 2:1 chip advantage when we began heads-up, and I had whittled him down to almost even. The final hand, we were all in pre-flop where I had ♦A ♦10 and the villain had ♥A ♣6. The flop had not one, but two sixes, ouch.
good thing about retirement ALWAYS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe MOJO mojo continues. Congrats!

ReplyDeleteMOJO, the August 6th issue of Card Player Magazine has an interview with the guy (Heimiller) who won the Seniors event if you're interested...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up. Yes, I'll read it.
DeleteJust read it online. I'm not surprised to find out he's a degenerate gambler. He could have played more cautiously when we were three-handed and been almost a lock to win. Instead he gambled (hand with me, for example) where it wasn't (imo) necessary.
DeleteHi Dave! Thanks for your comment on Florida Fotos. That was very scary, but the boy was having the time of his life. Hope all goes well!
ReplyDeleteYou would enjoy Eustis if you haven't already been there. Stop for coffee or lunch at Olivia's on the main drag downtown.
