In El Fuerte, we stayed in a hacienda (built in the 1890s) that had been converted into a hotel.

Remember that guy Zorro? He was born in El Fuerte and there are statues of him in several places. Here's a link.

Photos by MOJO and taken with my P&S.

  1. great pixs, and its neat that Z left his mark on the place. Btw any poker or bridge in these locations, or just what do they do for fun besides tequila?

  2. The Sky in that one pic is so sweet looking. Nice job.

I never received confirmation for the WBOOP after registering. Did you?

  3. I like them all, including BOTH the train shots in the previous post. Yes, the second train shot could maybe be improved by cropping it just below the train and pumping up the color a bit. Nothing wrong with snapshot style when you are trying to document your travel.

  4. I never received confirmation for the WBOOP after registering

@DiverJoules: Yes, but it took a few days. You can go online and check. I forget exactly how, though.

@Glen: No cards, although I have iBridgeBaron on my phone and turned it to airplane mode and played bridge when I was bored.

@Crash: both were right out of the camera.

  5. Yes, I know. I was "Just Sayin'" that if you went ahead and used software on that photo, it has potential.

  6. What a wonderful place to stay - wow, what a vacation. And your horizon line has improved - very good photos. That candy colored sky will be a big hit.
